Therapy Services
OT and Physiotherapy Services work with inpatients, outpatients and day
hospital users. Involved with specialised treatment groups such as Parkinson's
disease and the 'Falls Group'.
At present the services are offered from Monday - Friday.
Diagnostic Services
- Five day a week service with emergency 'on-call'.
- 10.30 - 08.00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
- The department has open access for chest x-ray referrals and appointment system for all other requests
- Ultrasound department undertakes a comprehensive range of examinations
- Consultant radiologists visit for 3 sessions a week
Support Services
- We have an ecumenical chaplaincy service - visit the hospital x 2 weekly - planning to increase to 3 planned visits shortly.
- Hotel services which offers comprehensive choice for all individuals
Emergency Care
- 24 hour cover with medical input 09.00 - 12.00, 02.00 - 05.00 Mon-Fri, plus
09.45 - 12.00 medical cover Saturdays and Sundays.
- Stroud Emergency Medical Services and casualty staff during 'out of hours' and the patient's own GP can be contacted at any other time.

Voluntary sector connections
- The League of Friends provide refreshments am - pm Monday - Friday, as
well as a weekly visit to the wards with a 'shopping trolley' providing
toiletries, sweets and beverages.
- Voluntary 'flower ladies' visit x 2 weekly.
- We also have a PAT dog service
Pharmacy Department
- Operates 09.00 - 01.00 and 14.00 - 17.00 Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri.
- 09.00 - 12.30 and 14.00 - 17.00 Wednesday

Hospital Facilities
- Free parking with designated area for disabled patients
- There is a children's play area in the outpatients' department
- Facilities are available for relatives to stay overnight if they wish
