New Tewkesbury Dental Practice Welcomes First Patients
18.11.2008
People in Tewkesbury wanting NHS dentistry are welcoming a new dental practice today, Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust has announced.
The practice, in Barton Street, will be offering a complete range of NHS services. They will also have a specialist paedodontist, who, while working as a general dentist, will be particularly focusing on children’s dentistry.
The PCT has been working with the Dental Partnership (the PCT’s business partners in the project) on establishing the new practice.
Georgina Bushby, Regional Manager for the Dental Partnership said: “We are delighted to be opening this new NHS dental practice in Tewkesbury. We have a well qualified, motivated and dedicated dental team who are looking forward to providing NHS dentistry in the heart of the Tewkesbury community”
Jan Stubbings, Chief Executive of the PCT, said: “This is another important development for NHS dentistry in Gloucestershire and builds on the opening of the ADP dental practice in Tewkesbury and practices in Lydney and Cirencester in the past year.
“We know that access to NHS dentistry is important to people in Gloucestershire and we will be continuing to invest funds in expanding provision for the benefit of local patients.”
Patients can express an interest in receiving dental care and treatment on 01684 276937 or online at www.tewkesburyhousedental.co.uk
Patients are asked not to visit the practice at this time unless it is for a prearranged appointment. It is not possible to express an interest at the premises or by contacting other NHS telephone numbers.
