Groundbreaking Ceremony at New Community Hospital Site
Local MP Neil Carmichael joined Chief Executive, Jan Stubbings from NHS Gloucestershire at a ceremony to ‘cut the first turf’ on the site of the new community hospital for the Berkeley Vale area, located at the Littlecombe Development in Dursley.
Jan Stubbings and Mr Carmichael were joined at the ceremony by NHS Gloucestershire staff, GPs and local community partners. Some preparatory and foundation building work started in June, but the turf cutting formally marked the beginning of the development.

New NHS Dental Practice in Gloucester gets ready for Opening
NHS Gloucestershire has today announced that a new dental practice will open in Gloucester in September 2010.
The practice, Gloucester Dental Care, based in London Road, Gloucester, has the capacity for around 8,000 NHS patients. It will be staffed by three/four full-time dentists and offers routine NHS dental care.
